i write to you from our nations capital.
i love traveling this country. experiencing the states, the cities, the roads, the people..yet ive never considered the capital.
what a foooool!
im in washington dc and i couldnt be more happy.
its a beautiful city with charm and history and flavor leaping from its seams.
if i wasnt already planning a pilgrimage to new york i might consider dc.
i woke up this morning to snow. i calculated today that i havent seen falling snow in 5 years. and before that like...9 or 10. i was happier than melissa who has never seen snow.
actually that sentence was a moot point considering it doesnt seem this girl gets happy about too much unless it involves her.
but i was pretty happy.
i went for a walk around the block as soon as i could and i laughed most of the trek.
i am so happy being in this place. this new place. not home. not restricted. this is where i need to be. not literally...but....not home and not restricted.
i am really sad we have to leave tomorrow. theres so much here to see. at least i hope to take a picture in front of obamas white house.
