i wish i had a computer with me along the way so i could record all the crazy thoughts i was having...but alas..no.

well, im here. i havent slept in three days-nor have i really eaten or and definitely havent bathed-but im here. santa fe is breathtaking. all around me there are mountains. i feel like the town is encircled by them, and i love that feeling. i love feeling so small, and i certainly do here.

the dorm-ive seen better, but ive also seen worse. (oh my gosh-its raining! thats good since theres a water shortage here.) some chipped paint, stained curtains, no air conditioning-but its okay. im here.

i did have second, third, and fourth thoughts however. as i was driving through tallahassee, i thought about transferring there. they did accept me. i just declined. as i pulled away from the greyhound station tuesday morning, i was so sure i didnt want to come. i couldnt imagine life away from florida. and even now, im not 100% that this is the place for me. but i am more than willing to give it time. shit, paying $27,000 i will give it all the time in the world.

my roommate. her being a theatre major definitely suits her. immediately the drama queen in her shone for me to see. but i do like her. shes nice and i think our personalities are somewhat similar. it should work out, im not worried about that.

my bank account, however, i am worried about. i was at $500 something the other day-i think monday?-and now im at $286. thankfully, i will be filling out the paperwork to start working in the admissions office on monday. (its done raining already.) i have so much shit left to buy though...trash can, desk lamp, i know theres more-but im tired.

hmm..what else to say? i think im gonna write in monstrathart now...
